A man’s genitals have been cut off by a group of four people that the man was able to identify. The man was rushed to St Joseph’s Shelter of Hope Hospital in Voi, Taita Taveta County.

According to the man’s brother, he was ambushed by the group as he collected firewood in the forest. The four men stripped him, cut off his genitals, cut of his genitals and afterward fled the horrific scene.
He says that his brother picked his genitals and ran to his home endlessly bleeding and crying in pain. They immediately rushed him to the hospital in Voi for instant medical assistance.
Meanwhile, Ahmed Abdile, the Sub-County Police Commander, says they are yet to find the mentioned suspects. But they are on the lookout.
Abdile also says that once the investigations are through, they will be able to know the reason behind the ambush.
The victim is currently in stable condition at the St Joseph’s Shelter of Hope Hospital in Taita Taveta County.
Additionally, Lewa Omar, the Wesu Sub-county Hospital Medical Superintendent, says the victim requires counseling as he has been disabled in terms of his manhood. Omar also says that the victim will need a psychologist so that he can get help on accepting his new way of life.
