Safaricom has yet again unveiled a new campaign that will see customers enjoy free 500MB daily bonus data with every purchase of a personalized no-expiry data bundle.

The offer is dubbed ‘Browse Bila Waas,’ (slang: browse without too much stress) the campaign seeks to enable Safaricom customers to enjoy more internets for less.

It targets Both Prepays and Post Pay customers who can now access their personalized data bundles on a dial of *544# under option “0” to Unlock their Free 500MB.

Upon purchase of the bundle, which is available every day until November 19th, 2020, customers will instantly receive 500 MBs bonus data valid until midnight of the same day of purchase

The service provider says its ambition is to connect its customers to the opportunities presented by the internet by availing affordable data, expanding its 4G network, and facilitating access to quality smartphones.

“The new data offer goes back to our promise to always provide our customers with more for less on Kenya’s best 4G network,” says Safaricom CEO Peter Ndegwa.

The new data offer comes barely a month after Safaricom service provider partnered with Google to initiate ‘Lipa Mdogo Mdogo’, an initiative that would empower more than one million of its customers to upgrade from 2G phones to quality 4G smartphones through a flexible and affordable payment plan.

During the last financial year, Safaricom invested approximately over Sh36 billion in its network while introducing a cutting to its data rates through the coming of No-Expiry Data bundles. Last year, Safaricom users bought data bundles with no expiry date on the telecom operator.

All of these announcements were made by the Board Chairman Michael Joseph during Safaricom’s 19th-anniversary celebrations. The new system has since been unveiled and dubbed as ‘Simple. Transparent. Honest.
