Netflix Giving Away Gifts

Netflix has gifted the viral Ikorodu Bois with gadgets to improve their production. In a video posted on their official Twitter page, “they wrote, Guyssss!! @NetflixFilm sent us this presents omg! Thank you guys @Netflix Film”, the Ikorodu Bois are seen UN boxing a camera, gimbal, an iMac, lights, tripod, and other accessories.

Popular social media sensation Ikorodu Bois seems to be having nothing short of an amazing 2020 despite all that has been happening around the world.

The Ikorodu Bois gained fame for remaking scenes from famous music videos and Hollywood films from Netflix Money Heist and Extraction which starred Chris Hemsworth.

These videos both went viral with the video striking 2.7 million views for Money Heist and Extraction stacking 11.3 million views. What makes the Ikorodu Bois popular is how they are able to enact scenes from shows like Money Heist using household items.

The talented young boys are set to improve their movie-making skills as they were gifted sophisticated production gadgets by movie streaming and production company, Netflix.

Their joy was not hidden under the table; they showed the world the exciting news with fans and followers across their social media platforms applauding the great Netflix on that sort of kindness to the skit making boys.

“Netflix! Thank you! Netflix you guys are amazing, we have received the gift, and we love it!” their caption read in excerpt on Instagram.

The comedy group paid a visit to Afolayan’s Lagos-based movie production studio where they were presented with the gadgets. The gadgets were presented to them by popular Nollywood actor and filmmaker, Kunle Afolayan.

Appreciating the Nollywood actor who has also offered to be their mentor, the group said they were ready to be under his care and guidance.

“We would love to say a very big thank you as you received us with open arms and for giving us the opportunity to better our crafts and for also deciding to be a mentor to us,” they said.

“For the scholarship program as well, we want you to know how much we appreciate this sir, you are a father and we are ready for the father-children tutelage from you sir,” they added.

Barely a month ago, were the young boys recognized by the Russo Brothers following their remake of the trailer for the blockbuster movie, Extraction.

Many Nigerians showered congratulatory messages on the youngsters.
