Most expensive short call? Thika man loses Sh5.7mn while on toilet break

Police are looking into how a businessman who parked his car and made a quick call in a public restroom in Thika Town lost nearly Sh5 million.

According to a report filed at the Thika Police Station by one Mathew Githinji, he had taken out Sh5.7 million from at least three banks and deposited it in his car before using the aforementioned public restroom.

He discovered the car had been broken into and the money missing when he returned to it on foot. Police are looking into the allegations.
