Migori: Madam Martha Ouma, principal of Oyugi Ogango girls, succumbs to Covid-19

Madam Martha Ouma the principal of Oyugi Ogango in Migori County has succumbed to Coronavirus. Her colleagues and school fraternity have confirmed she developed all Covid 19 complications including difficulties in breathing before she died suddenly.

Madam Ouma succumbs to Covid-19

KUPPET Migori branch confirmed her death via short message that read as follows, “KUPPET is saddened again and again to learn of the sudden demise of Principal Mathar Ouma, who until her death was the Senior Principal Oyugi Ogango Girls in Rongo Subcounty.”

On behalf of KUPPET and that of the entire teaching fraternity send our heartfelt condolences to friends, family and Oyugi Ogango school community.

May the Almighty Father Rest Madam’s soul eternal peace… “

Covid-19 is in our schools. All we urge teachers and learners is to be careful.  But truth of the matter is that as the government reopens schools with no preparations or funding for safety, many workers on the frontline will suffer even more.
