Kibicho and Sonko’s Bitter exchange

The Interior PS Karanja Kibicho has fired back at Sonko saying he has had enough of his personal attacks on him.

This comes after Sonko claimed that he and the CS participated in the destruction of vehicles during 2017 elections. He went on to say that this was done to discredit ODM party and ruin the party’s image.

While addressing the press, PS Kibicho clarified that he voluntarily went to the DCI to record a statement and was not summoned.

He went on to say that he was not at DCI as the PS for interior and that Sonko shall give him answers if there is any law in Kenya.

In addition, he also said he is pursuing justice now that Sonko admitted to committing those crimes publicly. Sonko also has alleged that he (Kibicho) was involved in the murder of former Vice President George Saitoti.

In a statement responding to kibicho, Sonko reiterated that he has never made any accusation he could not back up. He admitted to being the mobiliser for the “the system” in Nairobi and thus knew what he was talking about.

While the war of words between Kibicho and Sonko ranges on, ODM has demanded a full investigation into Sonko’s allegations.
