Kenyan comedian ‘David the Student’ tests positive for Covid-19 days after encounter with racist

Kenyan comedian, David the Student, has tested positive for the Covid-19 virus. This comes days after an encounter with a white racist who refused to wear a mask.

David the Student tests positive for Covid-19

He had relocated to the United State in 2018 and has been working as a Lyft driver since then.

According to his Instagram post, he says he had been feeling well and decided to take the test. The test came the next day showing he has the virus.

He tells his fans he will be in quarantine for 14 days.

“I got my results back on Monday evening and as I feared I had contracted Covid-19. I will start my 14 days quarantine now.” He says.

Additionally he says that, “Thank you all for the support I have been receiving through a very tough period of my life. I will get through this!”
