Liverpool impresses its fan to 3-0 win over Leicester City. The teams played at Anfield in the Premier League on Sunday as Liverpool sets a new club track record of 64 straight undefeated home league games.

With goals from Jonny Evans and headers from Diogo Jota and Roberto Firmino, this was sufficient to allow Juergen Klopp a victory over his forerunner Brendan Rogers.
This leaves the defending champions Liverpool to level on 20 points. On the lead are Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea being on third place with 18 points. Leicester is placed at the fourth place.
Liverpool has proven victory even though some of its team players have Covid-19 or are injured. Players like Mohamed Salah had tested positive for Covid-19 while Trent Alexander-Arnold and Jordan Henderson have injuries.
The team was able to score in the first 21 minutes when Evans heads a James Milner corner into his own net.
Leicester tried to score as well but their effort was well wide of the target. Kasper Schmeichel, Leicester’s keeper, had achieved a series of saves denying Liverpool some goals after the break.
In spite of Schmeichel’s blocks, the Brazilian for team Liverpool was able to score at the last four minutes from the end. He does a fine header from a Milner corner.
Klopp was amazed by the way his team handled the match well even without other team members.
During an interview, Klopp says the team deserves it and that the players have played against a top opponent. Additionally, he says he likes the overall performance and that they defended their team incredibly well.
However, Rodgers is not happy with how his team had proceeded towards the first half. He says his team gave away poor goals and it was not aggressive enough in playing.
