David Karega, the man involved in defiling five children in Rongai, was jailed for 100 years following a ruling in Molo court.
During the court proceeding, over 10 witnesses were presented before court. All of the witnesses testified that Karega lured the five girls and defiled them.
It was established that David Karega defiled the girls aged between 4 and 7 at a village in Rigogo, Rongai.
Later, the man gave the children Ksh10 as a bribe for their silence. He also warned the girls against telling anyone of what had befallen them.
According to the evidence produced and the declaration of the witnesses, Karega was found guilty and consequently charged. Molo court Principal Magistrate, sentenced him to 100 years in prison for his act.
Earlier, a 28-year-old man from Nakuru County was sentenced to life imprisonment following his guilty plea to defiling his daughter.
The man admitted to sneaking in the room of his daughter and defiling her but he was caught by his eldest daughter who reported to the mother.
Sexual Offence Act
According to the Sexual Offence Act of 2006, anyone who commits an offence of defiling a child aged 11 years or less will face a life imprisonment sentence.
