Covid-19 cases in Kenya continue rising day by day. With most Kenyans disregarding the Covid-19 guidelines, others assume that there is no virus.

Consequently, a number of Kenyans continue contracting the virus whereas others succumb to the virus.
Currently, 1048 Kenyans are confirmed to have the Covid-19. This totals to 75,193 as per statistics. The tests were sampled from a total of 8,660 over the last 24 hours.
Among those positive are 30 foreigners, the youngest being a one year and the eldest a 90 year old.
Additionally, nineteen more patients have passed away due to the Covid-19. This brings the total number of fatalities to 1,349.
On matters of patients discharged, 326 patients have been discharged; 107 are from hospitals around Kenya whereas 219 are from home-based care. In spite of the daily rise in cases, a total number of 50,984 have recovered since the first report of Covid-19 cases.
The Health Cabinet Secretary, Mutahi Kagwe, reports that health facilities have 1,114 Covid-19 patients and 6,332 patients for the Home Based Care program.
