Bodaboda Rider On The Run After Hitting Pupil To Death In Kirinyaga

Police in Kagio, Kirinyaga County, are looking for a bodaboda operator in connection with a hit-and-run accident that killed a student.

Wilson Koskei, the police chief of Mwea West Sub County, stated that the incident occurred on the Kagio-Kandongu road.

“The pupil was crossing the road before he was run over by the bodaboda operator,” Koskei stated.
The speeding motorcyclist fled immediately after the incident, despite locals’ best efforts to apprehend him.

Locals have urged authorities to install speed bumps in the area to prevent such incidents. Police, for their part, urged motorists to exercise extreme caution. A manhunt is underway for the fugitive suspect.
